HKEX Series: Introduction of HKEX’s Stock Futures and Index Futures

Overview

This course focuses on introducing new listed Single Stock Futures (for example: Xiaomi). The performance of Single Stock Futures, the premium or discount between Single Stock Futures and cash equities, and trading strategies and scenarios of using Single Stock Futures will be discussed. In addition, the basic information of the newly launched MSCI AxJ Futures together with how to use this regional index futures to create exposure or hedge cash equity risk will be covered.

Victoria Wang COE

Victoria Coe, CFA, serves as a senior vice president that leads the wealth management client segment at the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX). Ms. Coe has provided investment advice to ultra-high-net-worth individuals in Asia as part of the Global Investment Opportunities Group at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Hong Kong. She also worked as an asset manager for the Global Special Opportunities Group at J.P. Morgan in New York, where she managed private equity investments, valuation, and capital markets activities, and as a deal team member for the private financing group at J.P. Morgan Hong Kong, which provided financing to small- and medium-sized corporations in Asia. Ms. Coe’s Early work involved commodities and derivatives structuring in J.P. Morgan’s New York office. She is a CAIA charter holder and holds a BA in economics from Fudan University and an MBA degree from Rutgers Business School.
