Alongside fundamental active and passive strategies, factor investing is the third pillar of investing and has gained increasing recognition from investors for its systematic, data-driven approach to delivering specific outcomes. Factor investing represents a breakthrough in fundamental elements of investing and could mark a permanent shift in asset management.

Stephen QUANCE

Stephen Quance joined Invesco as the Asia Pacific Director of Factor Investing in 2017.

He promotes the global factor initiative by supporting clients, aiding research, setting strategy, refining operations and increasing education both internally and externally primarily in the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to joining Invesco, Stephen was a portfolio manager with Dimensional Fund Advisors for more than 10 years. In that role, he managed various factor strategies, a number of which were for Asia institutions, and met extensively with investors across the region. Originally an engineer by training, Stephen holds a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rice University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas.
