Basic Accounting Theories

Building Blocks - Part 1 (2019)

Overview

This eCourse consists of three modules. Module 1 explains Indices, exponents, and logarithms, which are some of the most basic and important tools employed in finance. These mathematical concepts are particularly important in the context of calculating the price of capital market and derivative products.

Module 2 provides an overview of differential calculus, which is a subtype of calculus that deals with the rates of change of given quantities. It has many applications in the world of finance and economics, including the measurement of changes in GDP, unemployment, and investment over time.

Module 3 looks at Integral calculus, which is a subtype of calculus that deals with the rates of change of given quantities.
