Overview

This eCourse consists of two modules. Module 1 provides an overview of the role of Information technology (IT) in business, covering its evolution from the earliest days of computing to contemporary developments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and other areas. While relatively few financial professionals need to develop coding skills, all can benefit from an enhanced understanding of the role of technology in the financial industry.

Module 2 provides an overview of FinTech, exploring its definition, goals, key technologies, and impacts. FinTech is revolutionising the business of finance. As its innovations spread to all corners of the financial industry, they are having a significant impact on competition, jobs, markets, customer experiences, and more.

Objective

On completion of this eCourse, you will be able to:
